Our Unique Strengths

Bay Ridge Play Place was founded in 1991 with three distinguished programs serving the needs of infants, toddlers and young children - ranging from 2 months to 5 years of age. In 1994 a Pre-K school was added to teach our current capacity of 53 children. Our center is designed to be a home away from home for children of all ages. Here at Bay Ridge Play Place children learn, laugh, grow and have fun!

The current owner has a strong background in management and marketing and has worked in the financial industry all his professional life. He and his wife have been operating the center since May of 1997.

Child care safety is very important at Bay Ridge Play Place. Over the years we have implemented strong internal and external operational controls and monitoring systems to ensure the integrity of employees and our program. We have a set of daily, weekly and monthly processes and procedures that allow us to monitor all aspects of the center's operation -including but not limited to- prospecting, marketing, quality control, regulatory compliance and personnel. Your child's safety and well-being is FIRST and FOREMOST. Everything about Bay Ridge Play Place is designed to promote your child's success and to provide you with confidence and peace of mind.

BRPP Management

BRPP is a day care center that is known for its high quality and competitive pricing. We are on average 10% less expensive than other neighborhood day care centers. Moreover, our quality care can be best illustrated by the long term commitment of our staff and their unwavering commitment to excellence. Our staff has been with us for as long as eight years. We are able to provide the highest quality service with consistency in care -second to none.

Another strength that is unique to day care centers and especially for BRPP, is the continuity of service, from the time that your child enrolls up to six years of age. The ability to form a relationship with parents and children from infancy through preschool helps us to better serve children throughout their early development. We treat every parent visiting with respect, understanding and professionalism with straight forward answers. Our location, impeccable reputation and competitive tuition, are in part, why parents enroll their children upon their first visit.

In addition to all the common installations and indoor areas for movement, sleeping, eating and diapering, we are fortunate enough to have a large playground yard. The children all definitely benefit from the opportunity to spend time outside twice a day, weather permitting. The entire outdoor area is padded. The padding is designed to be long lasting and safe for your child to participate in outdoor activities.

The daily operation of BRPP is the responsibility of the educational director. The director communicates directly with the owner regarding all decisions affecting the operation of the center.

ACD Program Student

Approximately 20% of students are ACD eligible. We help prospective parents fill out the proper forms; eligibility is determined by the ACD administrator. BRPP is a preferred provider. We accept ACD eligible children as long as space is available. Continued enrollment at BRPP is dependent on eligibility or parent's ability to pay for services.
